For those of you who don't know this was a late birthday present for Lisa. She has been working so much lately the kids and I decided she needed a vacation and her favorite place is WDW. But...the ploy was we were going to Branson. I told her I had made all the arrangements and we were set so she didn't have to do anything. Well I was getting nervous closer and closer to the day of the trip because I knew it was 80 degrees in Orlando but she thought we were going to 55 degree Branson. So I didn't want her to pack a bunch of cold weather clothes so I told her we were going to WDW a couple weeks ahead of time. At first she thought I was joking. Then when she realized I wasn't joking she was a little nervous about flying since the 9-11 "incident". But she finally warmed up to the idea.

Our flight was at noon out of KCI so we had didn't have to get up too early this time. We checked into the Contemporary about 4:30, but it was too late to get a Magic Kingdom view so we got the Lagoon view which was ok for one night because we got to see the Electric Water Pagent at 9:00. That was neat. The hotel is real nice. It is one of the oldest ones on the property. It has the monorail running right through it. So we could take the monorail or the bus to anywhere. We didn't even rent a car this time.

After we settled in we went downstairs to Chef Mickey's for a late dinner. We got to see Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

After dinner we went swimming at the pool.
