LAST CHANCE IN CLAREMORE

On July 29^th eleven Tiger Sharks traveled the 2 hours to Oklahoma to participate in the Claremore Last Chance Invitational swim meet.

Haydn Bartholomew finished 2^nd in all 3 of his events. They were the 25 yard backstroke, 25 yard freestyle and 25 yard butterfly. Jasmine Bello finished 3^rd in the 25 yard backstroke, 2^nd in the 50 yard freestyle and 6^th in the 25 yard breaststroke. Amber Carter placed 4^th in the 50 yard freestyle, 3^rd in the 50 yard backstroke and she came in 1^st place in the 100 yard freestyle. Andrew Fowler finished 1^st in both the 50 yard backstroke and 200 yard individual medley. He also placed 2^nd in the 50 yard breaststroke. Mary Catherine Geddie finished 4^th in the 50 yard freestyle and 2^nd in both the 50 yard backstroke and 50 yard butterfly.

Jacob Haskins placed 2^nd in the 50 yard freestyle, 2^nd in the 50 yard backstroke and 3^rd in the 100 yard individual medley. Shelby Haskins placed 1^st in both the 25 yard backstroke and 25 yard breaststroke. She also placed 2^nd in the 25 yard freestyle. Griffen Leininger placed 3^rd in the 25 yard freestyle and 2^nd in both the 100 yard individual medley and 25 yard breaststroke. Jillian Leininger finished 5^th in the 50 yard freestyle. Kailey Roland placed 1^st in both the 50 yard backstroke and 100 yard freestyle. She then went on to place 3^rd in the 50 yard breaststroke. Kenna Roland finished 1^st in the 50 yard freestyle, 2^nd in the 50 yard backstroke and 1^st in the 100 yard freestyle.

When the final results came out Amber received high point honors for the 11 and 12 year old girls division. Andrew was 2^nd for the 13 and 14 year old boys, Shelby was 2^nd for the 8 and under girls, Griffen was 3^rd in the 8 and under boys bracket, Kailey was 2^nd for the 13 and 14 year old girls and Kenna was tied for 2^nd in the 10 and under age division.
