LASAGNA
2 lbs. Hamburger
4
cups Mozzarella cheese
1 lb. Italian Sausage (4 links)
2
cups Monterrey Jack cheese
1 jar of spaghetti sauce (28 oz.)
¾ cup Parmesan cheese
1 can of tomato sauce
1
½ cups cottage cheese
6 lasagna noodles (for 2 layers)
15 oz. Ricotta cheese
Italian Seasoning Mrs. Dash

Use deepest 9" x 13" pan you have

Brown hamburger and Italian sausage in large skillet. Drain grease.
Add spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce to meat and simmer for at least 30 minutes on low.
(add Italian seasoning, Mrs. Dash, salt and pepper to taste)
BOWL 1
Grate and combine Mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheese. Put in fridge.
BOWL 2
Mix ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, eggs and Italian seasoning.
-Cook noodles and drain.
-Let meat/sauce mixture cool slightly and layer in pan as follows:
Layer 4: shredded cheese
Layer 3: soft cheese
Layer 3: meat sauce
Layer 2: noodles
Layer 1: meat sauce
MEAT ALWAYS GOES ON BOTTOM AND SHREDDED CHEESE ALWAYS GOES ON TOP
If you smash each layer down you may be
able to have more than one layer, depending on how
deep your pan is.
-Bake at 325° for approximately 30 minutes OR until cheese on top is melted
